Bao Zhong Royale is one of our favorite oolongs.

This exceptional organic tea undergoes a gentle oxidation process while retaining a robust floral complexity and minimal astringency.

It has notes of roasted stone fruit, unsweetened coconut, and the essence of crackling firewood.  It's aftertaste is rich and velvety.

Enjoy this tea over multiple infusions.

Ingredients: Oolong tea.
Origin: Mingjian Village, Taiwan

Like an herbal broth

This tea has a savory quality that almost reminds me of a buttery mushroom broth, followed by a dancing of flowers across the tongue. It tastes like an herbal broth with a flower aftertaste. This is the first oolong tea I've ever tried, and I just ordered my second 3 ounce bag!

On the light end

Certainly not bad, but I found the taste didn't match the description of the tea. It is a light oolong without any astringency as described -- but it lacked the complexity and coconut/stonefruit/firewood. I do think it had a somewhat buttery/creamy aftertaste. Stood up to 4 infusions (but I use a slightly higher amount of water than true gong fu brewing).

Would purchase again -- good for "light" oolong to compare against a darker one for those developing their palate.

It’s okay, but much lighter to other oolongs.

Good Oolong

This is a very decent oolong tea, although I did not note any coconut or stonefruit as described on the package.
