There is no strict rules that say which specific black teas must be used in an English Breakfast blend. Typically, it combines two or three teas, often sourced from regions such as Sri Lanka, India, and occasionally China.

Our English Breakfast blend features a selection of organic black teas from Myanmar, Thailand, and Yunnan, China. This unique combination creates a malty and robust profile, complemented by subtle chocolatey undertones and a natural sweetness. It’s delightful on its own but also pairs well with milk and sugar for those who prefer a richer taste.

Meh!

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this, as well as two other teas (black Dragon Pearls and China Breakfast) that I ordered for the first time from Tea Runners. I have been an avid loose-leaf (strong) black tea drinker for 50+ years, and I must say that none of these possess any kind of note or character that, IMHO makes me want to drink another cup. In fact, I am sorry to say that I ended up pouring out the rest of each pot of each type. Not because the tea is necessarily bad, it's just that I feel that there are much better offerings out there.

Bold without bitterness

I’ve tried several English Breakfast teas because some mornings I want a robust brew. Most have disappointed because they were strong but bitter. At last I found this bold brew without any bitterness. While I generally prefer an Earl Grey or, even better, your Citron Mint Black, some days I just want a plain hearty tea. This is it.
